Run free, sweet Harvey
No more pain, no more struggles.
For the last two years of his life, Harvey knew what it truly meant to be loved. He spent his days in the warmth and safety of his foster home, surrounded by his foster mom and dad, and his four-legged brother. From the very first moment, he was no longer alone—he was safe, he was cared for, and he was cherished.
He was fed with love, played with, taken on the walks he so enjoyed, and given all the comfort and attention he deserved. His foster family took such beautiful care of him, making sure his days were filled with kindness, patience, and gentle moments.
And when the time came, Harvey was not alone. He was held close by the people who loved him, comforted and surrounded by familiar voices and gentle hands. He was able to pass peacefully, knowing he was safe until his very last breath.
Now, Harvey has crossed the rainbow bridge. We imagine him running free through endless green fields, his spirit light and joyful, his body free from pain. Surrounded by new friends, chasing, playing, and resting under warm sunshine - finally at peace.
Harvey’s story began with hardship, but it ended with love. And that love is what will always be remembered.
Thank you to his incredible foster family for giving him not just a home, but a life filled with dignity, compassion, and love until the very end.
Thank you, Harvey, for trusting again, for loving so deeply, and for reminding us that no soul is ever beyond hope.
--------
THIS IS HARVEY - he needs a safe home to enjoy his old age in.
Harvey is 14 years old and was found with a big burn on his back. We think his previous owner did this to him 😨
He’s slowly healing & the depth of the wound has minimized. He will probably always have to wear sunscreen on his back - or a pretty shirt - when out in the sun, because his fur will not grow back anymore.
But he is definitely progressing well thanks to his foster that is cleaning the wound daily, taking him out for walk (that he loves ❣️) His spirits are happy.
Even though he is no spring chicken anymore, he is still very active, loves his walks and is social with other dogs.
He is loving - and loves to cuddle near you, enjoys a nap or 2 throughout the day, but is as good as a 4 year old doggie, when it comes to his walks. He is also potty trained. Harvey is a small/medium sized dog.
DON’T wait to get in touch for Harvey, if you are interested in more info.
